How do you know it is brand new? Just curious. I bought my one new and it had all the sticky tape protectors on the bracelet. It is a lovely G though and I love the weight and feel of it. Beware that even if you are careful wearing it, you can still easily scuff the bracelet and being black it will show easily. Good luck with your bidding. ;- )
