Hi, I have a g shock gw2000bd that is dead. I have left it on a sunny windowsill for a few days but still no sign of life. Its an analogue chrono solar with a rechargeable battery. I took it to my local jewellers (not a Casio dealer) and he said it could be the battery but it is more likely to be the solar cell and probably won't be worth repairing. This sounds like a load of BS to me, what do you think?
If it is likely to be just the battery which one do I need and are there any preferred makes? Do you know of any Youtube video's showing how to change the battery? Do I need any special tools? Is there any thing else that I need to know?
