The Rangeman is the most versatile watch in the G-Shock inventory today. You get alto of bang for your buck; combined with a watch that looks and feels great...! Hands down an excellent choice to start your G collection. If you are serious about collecting them I recommend you purchase certain models of the Rangeman; because some of them are extremely hard to find.

When I started getting interested in watches again I got obsessed with two models - a Rangeman and a D1000 Frogman. Recently acquired a PRG-510T which managed to scratch the ABC adventure watch itch (plus it's a mini-grail from back when I first started getting G-Shocks) but I still think of a Rangeman from time to time. What a badass looking G-Shock.
