Another Bape x G-Shock DW-6900 for May 2012

Another month, another BAPE x G-Shock collaboration. This time once again BAPE have teamed up with Casio on the classic DW-6900 model. The new BAPE x G-Shock DW-6900 features a metallic purple band and bezel, white dial with purple detail, postivie display, BAPE head EL and of course BAPE and GO! APE logos to dial. We also expect to see custom packaging and a custom caseback. No doubt this will be available from all good BAPE stores and ZOZOTown soon, news on firm release date when we have it.

ProTrek May 2012 New Releases

Casio Japan are releasing one new ProTrek model for May 2012, the ProTrek PRW-2500B-3JF. The new PRW-2500B-3 features a green bezel (a new colorway for the PRW-2500 range) and a camouflage style fabric strap with ProTrek keeper. The PRW-2500B-3 also features all the normal ProTrek ABC (alti-baro-compass) features along with tough solar and multband6.

Baby-G April 2012 New Releases

Casio Japan have announced eight new Baby-G models for April 2012. Three models are from the ani-digi BGA range and three from the surf inspired G-Lide BLX range.

The Baby-G BLX-5600 G-Lide range all feature a square dial and tide graph functionality. The Baby-G BLX-5600-1JF features a gloss black band and bezel, the Baby-G BLX-5600-4JF features a bright pink band and bezel and the Baby-G BLX-5600-7JF features a white band and bezel with a blue dial.
Three models are released into the ani-digi BGA-1100 range, all feature tough solar and multiband 6 atomic time syncronisation. The Baby-G BGA-1100-7BF features a white band and bezel, the Baby-G BGA-1100-2BF has a blue band and bezel with the range

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Kyubey x G-Shock DW-5600

This is certainly one of the more leftfield G-Shock collaborations we've seen recently, it's a tie in with the Japanese anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The watch is based on the character Kyubey which is apparently is a genderless extra terrestrial being posing as a familiar who can grant any wish to a certain girl, on the condition that she become a magical girl and fight against witches (from Wikipedia). Right on.
Anyhow the watch is due out later this month and is available for pre-order

ProTrek April 2012 New Releases

Casio Japan are set to release two new ProTrek models for April 2012, both are Manaslu editions, the moniker Casio reserve for their range topping ProTrek models. The ProTrek PRX-7000T-7JF Manaslu edition features Casio's all new Smart Access system, see the preview on the ProTrek PRX-7000T Manaslu we brought you back in February. The other model is the black ProTrek PRX-2500YT-1JF which is a new colorway for this model, the silver model having been released back in November.

X-Girl x G-Shock DW-5600 out now

Japanese clothing label X-Girl (formerly associated with Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon) have followed up their 2009 G-Shock collaboration with this X-Girl x G-Shock DW-5600. The new collaboration features an 80s themed pastel colorway and packaging, Mike Mills designed X-Girl caseback engraving, X-Girl logo to the EL and black band and bezel. The X-Girl-x-G-Shock-DW-5600 is out now in Japan and is available from zozotown, price is �16800 - around USD$205 / GBP�130 / �155!

The G-Shock GXW-56KG-3JF is part of the all new Army Green Series which dropped as part of the G-Shock November 2011 release with this model following as part of the March 2012 G-Shock release. The G-Shock GXW-56KG-3 and rest of the Army Green (or Military Green Solar as it's known in the US) pack are due April 2012 in the USA.
