You can see where I had to shave about 1/16" from the shoulder, a bit of the original thickness remains in the corner.

I was able to make a traditional 5600 adapter set from Vario work by trimming down the shoulders on the adapters with a sharp blade. It worked out well. I'm not sure anyone makes adapters that fit the G-300 naturally; I couldn't find any.
