The vendor reckons to have bought this from a garage sale a couple of years ago from John "Captain Jack Harkness" Barrowman - might have to watch some old Torchwood DVDs to see if I can spot the watch!

A celebrity G-Shock, there you go. Who is he?

Think the watchshock is only a subset of the G-shock perfect search so I'd probably start there. Anyhow I reckon it's a DW-069V-9V > http://auction.item.rakuten.co.jp/10028772/a/10020227/

My black and green GD100 :

Nice, welcome to the site :)

Yes, you are right, same as the Rakuten auction with one minor detail - I got mine for two thirds of the starting price of that auction :D

John Barrowman is a flamboyant actor and entertainer known to many Doctor Who fans as the star of the spin-off series Torchwood which is set in Cardiff - co-incidentally I am going there tomorrow to survey the station.

I was kidding, I am aware of his work. Good price you bagged that for, even without the celebrity connection ;)

That's a good looking watch. And it's a Casio.

<glances round, no one watching, whispers> I happen to know that a certain moderator here not only has a watch that isn't a G-Shock but it is a .... SEIKO! :mad-new:

@Olivier - nice Oceanus :) All Casio (and watches in fact, expect Timex maybe ;) ) are cool here.

It is true, I also have a couple of Seiko :wink-new:

Seikos aside seemed like a good day for a Frog :D
