    Knock off 6900?

    This initially caught my eye, but on closer inspection it looks a bit iffy compared to my own 6900 ...

    It is definitely a fake though quite convincing. I can dig out some pictures tonight of one in my collection! (just off to work)

    Red, genuine 6900. The clear 6900 fake has the day digits in the correct place between 1st and 2nd eyes. Text looks reasonable too

    Module is encased in this moulding, no metal cage, no rubber shock absorber.

    They have made a fair attempt at a watch here - why not design a case, put the module in it and market it under their own name?

    That certainly does look quite convincing, and of reasonable quality, too. For me the biggest give away would be the plastic buttons.
