Can you find Japanese G-Shocks in Hawaii?

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum and new to G-Shock collecting. In fact, my first one is still on its way to me. I have noticed from my research that a lot of cool models seem to be released to Japan first and come to the U.S. late, if ever. My wife and I will be traveling to Hawaii soon on vacation. I was wondering if some of the Japanese versions show up there because of the high Japanese population and that they are so much closer to Japan. If so, where should I look while there to see if I can find something cool to bring back as a souvenir?

BTW, the model I have on order is a G9000-1V. I actually bought it specifically for this trip because I don't currently have a sports watch and I knew we'd be doing a lot of hiking and snorkeling while there. Now, I'm hooked and I want another one, already.

I live on Oahu. Not really too much variations from
The mainland only thing out here I've found to get a little easier is the in4mation x gshock models.
