Watch buying advice for a confused newbie

I recently got into an arguement with someone over whether or not it's actually a G-shock watch, but for a watch that is atomic, solar, and has class, I always go to my casio edifice.
Otherwise, I think one of the aviator series might be best at home under a buttoned sleeve. I love the MTG's but they're still more rugged than fancy, in my opinion.

I'm enamored with the idea of this watch with a stainless band

Hi all, thanks for the advice. I've settled on a GW-4000D. Now for part 2. I found this listing:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110863612881?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 on eBay. Does anyone have any knowledge of this seller, or advice on buying from the US? It looks like a phnomenal deal and they're a top rated seller. I figured that even if I get stung for import charges etc I'll still be saving hugely on the best deals I've found in the UK...

99.9% feedback and number of transactions looks good - very difficult not to get a couple of negatives from over 7000 deals and sometimes the ones leaving bad feedback are total muppets ...

Not dealt with them before.

At a rough guess you will be spending £220 plus Paypal rate of exchange say £230, customs will want at least £46 from you and Parcel Farce or whoever is the carrier will want up to £18 customs clearance fee So you will be spending just shy of £300

Looks to be the best deal on eBay, not may in the UK shops yet, watchshop.com have it at £400 with no discount vouchers applicable.

Yeah, when I looked at the only negative feedback in the last 6 months it was from someone complaining about customs charges...like that's the seller's fault!

You could also check out the Protrek range, these are quite slim so would fit under a cuff, also slightly understated with clean lines.

Hi all. The watch arrived yesterday...hurray! The bracelet needs adjusting...boo. There's a Goldsmith's in Canary Wharf, where I work...hurray! They can't do it, and neither can the shoe repair place round the corner they sent me too...FFS!
Can anyone recommend a shop in Canary Wharf that CAN size my bracelet?

Hi all. Just back from getting the bracelet sized. The watch, finally, looks brilliant. Thanks for all your help!
