Aviator series band sizes? Resin vs Steel

Have a quick question on the bands on the Aviator Series of watches. I own the GW3000BD-1A and the metal band out of the box was actually larger than I expected. I have a larger wrist and was really glad I didn't need to purchase links. I could probably get rid of one link and have a great fit.

My question is how do the resin band compare in size. I live the look of the new GW4000-1A but am worried that the resin band will be to small. Anyone have any experience with both bands?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mark / Bayonne, NJ

If you can wear the 3000BD fine, the resin 3000 or 4000 will fit you just fine as well. It's a long strap. How big are your wrists?

My wrists are not HUGE but in the past I would always need to add a link or two to any of Rolex Subs, or any Omegas. I was really shocked to see how large the steel band was on the GW3000BD out of the box. I could actully remove a link or two for a better fit. I was hoping the GW4000 resin strap would be as large. BTW, thanks for the offer but I should have it tonight or in the AM.
