    Help on replacing bands

I have 2 6900's I am currently attempting to switch bands on. Already looked for help on different sites and such but can't find any. Lurked here for a while and know this is a great place for help. I'm not sure on how to take the bands off or put them back on. Thanks.

Would be a good idea for a wiki article.

    quick overview

    1. Place watch face down so you can see the caseback.
    2. Using either a proper spring bar tool, small electrical screwdriver or similar compress the spring (which attaches band and watch) toward the band. See image below, sorry for the poor quality The pencil shows about where you need to press, in this case push the ridge on the spring bar left to release and pull band up/out once the spring bar is clear of the locating hole in the watch body. Once one side is rleased you should be able to remove the band from that side.

    3. Repeat on other spring bar.

    4. Installation is the repeat of removal.
