Auto Receive - GW-1000

Do I need to set my GW-1000 for auto receive or is it set that way at the factory? I set it next to my Pro Tech and that auto syncs every night almost and my G-1000 hasn't. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

First thing is to do a manual receive but only after selecting your home cityeeg. The city which represents the time zone you are in.
The instruction booklets with G-Shocks can be a bit fiddle but they are much more clear if you can view them via a PDF document online. They will tell you how to do these two things.
