Ok so I was able to grab a GW-M5625 off the bay for 30 notes with the intention of making it a project watch as the pics showed it had discoloured on the bezel and strap, what the pics did not show was that the watch had a film like substance on it including the bezel and strap and no matter what I tried it just would not shift and it seems to have inserted itself into the resin.
So with the help of Rutteger I ordered a new set from Tiktox that was delivered this morning and I am really happy with the result (after much frustration and swearing trying to get the strap pins back into the lugs).

And here she is now.
And it's brothers.
So overall a good end to a watch that seems to have been pretty abused but has a new loving owner.
