atomic time reset issue after battery change

I recently had my battery replaced in my GW-500a and since then, it will not receive new time settings. I have even taken it outside to see if it was just my house that was the problem and it still doesn't change. Is there a way to manually change the time outside of it being programmed from Ft Collins? Thanks!

First thing is probably to try and dig out the manual, if you don't have it take a look here > http://www.g-shockzone.com/content.php?143-G-Shock-manuals-online

The atomic sync only works if the time zone is correct, e.g. if you have your time zone set to japan (or whatever the default is for the GW-500) it won't sync up with the US signal.

If you go through all this and still no luck I'd take it back to whoever changed the battery....

looks like it will be back to the guy who changed it....all the other scenarios are done correctly and I made sure to double check. I was just wondering if anyone knew a trick to bypassing the atomic set option and set it manually like a regular watch.

Long pressing the top right button normally gets you into time set mode, you can manually set the time on all G-Shock afaik.
