Hi all,

I hope/expect your knowledge will be of use in my decision to return this G-Shock...

Got my first G- Shock today. GW-M5610-1ER. £74 inc shipping. JohnLewis.com.

Problem is, it looks to me like the display is not straight/ level.

In main display (time) mode, the black bar that the hours, minutes, seconds are sat above, looks to be higher on the left. The date 'window' being on the same 'sheet' (plastic?) is similarly tipped over on clockwise rotation.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

I saw it from straight out of the box. I know it's a bit nit-picky, but I am not thinking it's right, right?

Have attached a link to large file for big views...

and a smaller for simples...

Thanks for any replies...

Hi Chrisek,

Sorry about that, i have checked as best I can, the links work here...

I found a similar watch with the same 'flaw', it too looks quite obviously misaligned.
Can you see this link?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/G-SHOCK-G...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item4ad774f7c4

it is ebay item no. 321442346948

Just to be clear, the for sale watch is not mine. I am not selling my watch. I might send mine back as it bugs me that it looks this way. The advertised pics of the watch/promotional images show the layout looking perfect....

Went on vacation, so checking in late. You are correct in that you can see it. I understand it is pretty straight forward to realign the module to one's satisfaction, with some patience and care. Particularly the non-screwbacks (like this one pictured). Hope that helps!
