Thanks Mr. Michel! Since we don't see many G-8000s around these days, I'll indulge you in a bit more about this! I guess this G is a rather acquired taste, I actually got this a while ago when I got my G-set from Japan and had some leftover funds, I decided to spend it on these two pre-owned Gs :)

It's a G-8000-1V, but I recently refurbed it with olive green resin (now it looks pretty much identical to the G-8000-3V) which I think suits it very well and it's a model that fits very comfortably for me personally. The module of this model is very good, and though the look of the watch isn't everyone's cup of tea it, I find it a nice, unique G to have in the collection :)

Also, I thought I'd mention it here as well, but that DW-001 original 1994 Jason I also got was missing it's bezel (rotted or broken away most likely) so when I did the resin change for the G-8000 I also got hold of a modern G-001 bezel to try on... and I'm glad to say, that it actually fits!

The buttons are slightly recessed in the original Jason compared to the modern but still workable, and the front/back bezel size is actually compatible, which is great because it is a new lease of life for a vintage model! A bit like how the GF-82XX frog resin can fit the vintage DW-82XX frogs, so I'm glad Casio have done this!
