    G-Shock 5081 Date Display.

    Hi All
I have a basic G-Shock 5081, had it for 3 or 4 years now and love it. However I would really like to be able to get the date displayed permanently in the left hand window instead of the time. I can get there using mode button to display date, but after a few seconds it defaults back to the time again. Any ideas? Thanks.

    AlrightPhill10ant,

The only G-Shock I know that has the module 5081 is the GA-100. If this is the watch you are refereeing to its a easy switch to do what you want.

All you have to do is press the forward button on the left hand side and it changes the time display to the date display. If your watch is not staying on the date display you may have to realign the hands to the digital display. You should find the instruction on how to do this in your manual.
