G-Shock module 5081 sound problems

Hi,
Just bought a lovely yellow G-Shock 5081 - but the alarm is so low I can only just hear it against my ear! Is this normal for this watch or indeed for all G-shocks or have I just got a faulty one? If it is normal then it's useless to me - very sad because I'm fallen a bit in love with it! If it is normal for this model is there a G-Shock with a proper alarm? Any advice most needed or else I just send it back!

i think it depends on your hearing levels.. im 42 and i cant hear the alarms on any of my watches.. if i hold them next to my ear i can hear them but thats it.. maybe if i had a hearing aid i could hear them.. but my experience is they are all very quiet

Same thing here! ALL my G shocks are VERY VERY LOW! My wife can hear them, I have to put them to my ear! LOL
