Thread: Won (and lost)

    Won (and lost)

Picked up what I though was a reasonably priced G-Shock from a well known auction site. Sure you've seen similar - mediocre pics, poor description and a seller with non-existent feedback. Took a punt and won, paid via paypal (got to be). Sadly and unsurprisingly got an email from the seller with some cock and bull story as to why their paypal account had been banned and asking why I hadn't paid! No watch but at least I didn't lose my money - it's sat unclaimed. Hey ho.

I've had a couple where I won what was gonna be a bargain and then I get an email saying the item is damaged and they've had to pull it from auction. Well frustrating.
    It's a G thing

Indeed, some sellers don't quite realise an auction won't always end in their favour. And generally in cases such as this it's not worth chasing.

To make up for this I did get a Casio in the post today. A broken Marlin. Hooray
