I was replying to TomBoyNI in the "Dw-5600 bape fape fake" thread when the doorbell went. My eagerly awaited watch!

This is what arrived (addresses obscured for opsec):

Inside, after an heroic struggle with sellotape and parcel tape:

The cost of postage and packing for this watch was £2.20 - hang your heads in shame those eBayers who charge £5,£6 even £10!

And this is what was inside, complete with printed out instructions:

A DW-003XS G-Lide in a fetching muted green - almost military. New battery and very little wear. Bought on Sunday, delivered today.

Not sure what is reflected to appear as marks on the crystal, it certainly isn't marks on the watch itself which shows very little signs of wear - many thanks to eBayer rosiep50 who has a fully deserved 100% feedback.

While writing this there was another ring at the doorbell - my other eagerly awaited package ...

Nice 6900!

This is the parcel from yesterday:

Big box full of cushioning and the important bits inside the wee black box. £6.00 postage and packing of which the seller had spent £5.90 on 1st class recorded insured and tracked delivery. £0.10 for packing everything up, materials and taking to the post office is a fair old bargain!

Spare brand new bezel and strap - I feel a gentle mod coming on
Plenty of time left on the warranty

On the wrist:

Amazing how dust appears on a watch as soon as you try to photograph it
GWF-1000-1DR

Many thanks to Clive, eBay i.d. spraygun100, for a quick, slick and friendly transaction

Very happy, keep glancing at my wrist to admire it and planning how to paint the spare bezel. It has a nice weight and presence to it. Only downside is that the strap sharkfin pokes out as the strap is so long - designed to go over a diving suit and a common problem to Frogs. Might cut down the spare strap and keep the original in a drawer - or get nato adapters.
