eBay Rare and NOS G-Shocks from Japan

I posted about this seller on TZ-UK. The sales are massively speculative and I personally would not buy from him. He apparently has unlimited access to discontinued Seiko HEQ and Grand Seikos, all at massively inflated prices. Also be wary - he says he's in Japan but the eBay account is in the...

    eBay G-Shock DW-5600C

Mine's cleaner (he said modestly) but not going anywhere near eBay for a while!

    Metal Or Resin?

It depends on the model obviously but we're going to get better longevity and case resilience with a metal case. There are of course arguments to say that a resin cased watch would respond to certain types of shock better than metal, but taking the original 10x10x10 design premise, in the real...

G-shock watches - what do they say about you?

Mens' (and womens') magazines are IMHO full of marketing twaddle and that's putting it politely. The watches I buy, are selected on my aesthetic tastes, the technology involved, my available funds, the functionality and the intended use I will put them. I don't need a style journo to tell me...

    Aviation Series - GW2500B-1A

I'm very tempted by one of these: but would welcome any real world comments on it before I pull the trigger. How easy is it to use the functions and are the digi windows actually usable, as they seem rather small in photos other than the stock one I've used from the Casio web site...

    Men in Burning Red Riseman

WOW - that's RED! Congratulations on your first and probably not your last G! David

    Let's see your entire collection

Thanks for your comments on my humble collection, yours is very nice indeed, especially the DW-5200. @Ryan - you will not know how tempted I have been to pull the trigger on your Master of Blue over at TZ-UK. Sadly I have just paid out for a Seiko SBCM023 from Katsu and what with the customs...

How many G-Shocks do you own?

Four plus - but still not enough!

    Let's see your entire collection

Here's nearly everything, apart from a couple of new entrants and the one that Farcelpost managed to mis-deliver today! We have a TimeFactors PRS-10, my used GW-5000-1JF, a Rolex Submariner 16610, a DW-5000-SL Spike Lee and a G-9000 Mudman. On the back row sit a Seiko SARB033, a DW-5600E, an...

Article: Casio announce G-Shock GW-9300 Mudman

Thanks for that update, it looks to be fully featured and not bad looking. Only slight drawback for me is the emphasis Casio seem to put with red accents, which are not my favourites. It'll be interesting to see, when you get your hands on it, how stiff those buttons are.
