G-Shock Desert Beige Series, Matt Metallic Series, Channel Islands and 6930BS - May 2013 G-Shock Rel

The May 2013 G-Shock release is upon us already with eight new models to spend our disposable income being announced. Hard to pic a highlight out of the release but if we had to it would be the G-Shock DW-6930BS-8 30th Anniversary (which we previewed earlier this week) complete with G-Shock medal, that's the sort of thing us collectors love Details of the complete release are as follows.

• G-Shock DW-6930BS-8 30th Anniversary, check the link for full details of all silver super limited edition.
• The G-Shock Desert Beige Series hits the street with three models in the initial drop. All feature beige / sand bands and bezels, black dials, positive displays with white and orange text and details. Three models are released for May the DW-6900SD-8, GA-100SD-8 and GW-M5610SD-8.
• Channel Islands x GLX-150CI-1 , Casio have teamed up with Channel Islands surfboards to release another surf inspired collaboration as part of G-Shock's 30th Anniversary. The Channel Islands x G-Shock collaboration features a black band and bezel with logos to the band, hi-tech green negative display, custom caseback and keeper and of course custom packaging.
• The release is rounded off by the Matt Metallic Series, the three watches in the line come in pastel colorways which we expect (from the Japanese translation) to have a metallic finish. Which could be very cool, we'll wait until we can try one on the wrist...
