New acquisition

Well, I went in looking for an all black GDX6900-1 but they had none left so I picked up a GD 120CM-8 in Urban camo at The Bay on a one day 40 % off sale. Got it back to the hotel room and started to set it up and could hardly read the reverse LCD in poor light. First thing this morning I returned it and bought the GA 1000-1A instead. They let me have the special price so I just couldn't pass it up at 40% off.

I guess not. I love the style and a bit larger size of the 1000. Next will be a steel or composite band.

Well it's been a month since this purchase and to date a top contender for my favorite aviator especially with the new combi bracelet. A great combination of analogue and useable digital with the LED lighting great combination. Simply put, if it was tough solar and atomic it would be my favorite hands down. I kinda like the 1100 series but the lack of digital for $500 puts it out for me. The Gulfmaster in Black does look interesting though.
