Module number. Seems like you got an older gen verision. Newer module is the 3230. Nothing to fret about, just the newer module has a calendar that goes to 2099, if memory serves.

My understanding is the atomic/solar models do not fit the DW versions (standard battery). Button holes are slightly misaligned.

Good solution to display, though I imagine putting the tins inside makes it more difficult to unstrap the G's since those openings are kind of small. Only thing that could make it better would be if it rotated freely, but it seems light enough that it's not really an issue.
