Thoughts on the new 2014 drops? What will be must haves for you?

yea youre never going to get away lightly on that one! maybe you could get lucky in 30-50 years at an estate auction?? lol but youre right, its all relative, even if i had the money it still wouldnt feel right spending that kind of moola on essentially a garden variety G. you prob could pay...

Need new strap (What DW-6900 is that?).

def. the ol resin cancer! sadly its one of the reasons im buying less and less vintage. even if its reasonably ok when you purchase it, its on the downward slope of its lifespan...that and the ever inflating prices!

    PAG240's.

the 240 to me has a classic trekking watch look and functions to match. love the thing to bits :D close second, if i ever got one, would be the prg40 because of its huge display but sadly they are a thing of the past (in newer condition anyway!)

The Official Introduce Yourself Here Thread.

Ahh! I meant the 270! The new ones! Your photos and naming got me confused. Im not actually a fan of the curved bits on the 2500 :p spot on about the neg displays, alot of ppl complain about them but im looking at the 130 thinking... what are they on about? mines crystal clear in any...

    g-shock mini

to hell what the site says! if you can get them go for it! theyre made for youngsters, smaller size and shorter straps. the 4 middle ones would be perfect and he'll be the coolest kid in his class ;) ps. id be leaning towards the analog ones, helps them tell the time a bit easier (:

    Let's see your collection

ahhh! love em! the 2500s have been calling me, i like the colours and the fact theyre gonig back to a chunkier looking silhouette. the similar module to the 240 with nice big digits is a winner too :D they actually caught my eye because i was waiting for g shock to release a triple sensor (or...

    XL models

the ga100-1xx were def. the flag bearers for the xl movement. the 1a1 was one of the first ones released and i couldnt throw my money at it fast enough! it was also one of the first models i had that had a good fit straight out of the box. sadly tho, it just doesnt get that much wrist time...

    XL models

funnily enough the 56 (i refuse to call it a king :p ) is where i draw the line for big watches. the fake rivots and ugly button protectors makes it look like a ben 10 toy than a king of anything. king of the playground maybe lol :tongue-new: :tongue-new: stylised rivots/bolts like on a 7900...
