The worrying thing is apart from the issues obvious to a true G-Shock fan that doesn't look so bad. LCD looks less bad than many fakes and quality doesn't look so terrible. I can see how this would fool a lot of people.

If the price is OK it might be worth a look. I've had to replace tough solar cells in a year old Riseman GW-9200, a two year old G-5500 and a couple of others. The cells are meant to last several years but don't always. The price of a new cell isn't cheap so bare that in mind when you bid. Good...

The upcoming G-Shock DW-5600BB is part of the Basic Black pack which is pencilled in for release early 2012, possibly February. The DW-5600BB features a matt black band and bezel, negative display, blue/green EL and super stealthy sterilized dial. Thanks to G-Street for the news :D

It was £32.50 BIN so hardly mega cheap but an OK price for a more or less as new DW-6900. The picture wasn't great and I completed the transaction on my mobile so I could make even less out... Good stuff, anything interesting? Did you ever post up your Austrian Casio oddity?

Haha, I wish! Sadly no, the mudman has eaten most of the G-shock funds for the moment ;)

Cool. Understand your reasoning. Out of interest when you ordered these parts from Casio did they ask whether you had a D&R? Or was it just a case of giving the correct part number?

No worries, thanks for adding more parts to the wiki. How easy / hard did you find it? I'd only used the fairly standard mediawiki before and the vaultwiki I've implemented here is slightly different. However felt the tight integration into vb was a winner.

Indeed, that would be a drawback for those not in the US.
