The backlights are indeed weak on these DW-6100s so nothing to worry about here imho. Watch has gone which is good, was tempted given it's cleaner than my DW-6100. anyone on here snag it?

Casio Japan have announced a couple of new G-Shock models mid month to bring the new G-Shock releases to January 2012 to three! The two models are the AWG-M100-1AJF and AWG-M100A-1AJF, both feature multiband 6 atomic time synchronization. The AWG-M100-1AJF has a black dial and red / white hands...

Two good choice, you'll not go wrong with either :encouragement: Quick guide on G-Shock model numbers here. The differences between the various models will be cosmetic mostly. The GA-110-1A has a positive digital dial And GA-110-1B has a negative digital dial and a slightly different colour...

Possibly (maybe) production of this G-Shock has restarted. A Hong Kong watch blog I follow showed new stock of the GW-5000-1JF, Watch Tanaka show stock > http://watch-tanaka.shop-pro.jp/?pid=13260597 and there are quite a few on eBay. Signs it's back in production? Or just a few remaining...
