I'd imagine quite a few collect other things, it's a very male thing to do. I also collect bicycles which although not quite as space consuming as military vehicles do take up a bit of room. Suppose that's one reason I like Gs, they are/can be (relatively) cheap and easy to get hold of and you...

Nice explanation, wonder how you sell twice by mistake :rolleyes: A lot to be said for the vanilla DW-6900 sometimes ;) Today went with the DW-5200. Good to have the half hourly chime. Interesting to see the resin had started to 'rot' slightly, had to give it a wipe off before wear.

Interesting take on your reasons for collecting. Clearly I've thought more about how I got into collecting than why I collect. Will have to give it some proper though ;)

Like Sean says I normally charge my solars reguarly and will definitely do so if they fall to M. If the level goes to L you do lose some functionality. My understanding is the batteries differ in chemistry to regular rechargeables.

:mad: pretty poor behaviour. Did he / she give an excuse? At leat you got the G and a fine one it is too, resin looks nice 'n' clean :D Look forward to seeing what comes from California ;) Gone for the DW-6900 today, not feeling very creative when choosing.

GSE is worth a visit, esp if they have a sale on. Something a little sad about an empty high street and / or one full of poundshops.
