According to the press release Casio rate it for 2 years on a standard CR2032, this is assuming 12 hours of connection a day. This does seem very good! Can only assume they didn't use solar due to space constraints. Nice gimmick though. Wonder if it'll get a release outside Japan. Not much use...

Interesting to see what (if at all) it goes for. Seems top cash to me but I've not closely followed the value on these. As an aise does that auction render oddly in your browser, the actual auction text and pics render in half a screen on chrome here.

A rare set so maybe the price is fair. Seems strong to me esp given the unattractive yellowing of band and bezel though. Wonder where else there are listed.

Nice few additions to the collection, it would seem to be impossible to stop buying once the bug bites. Loving the turbokolor, MIEB gulfman and Nigel Sylvester although like all the models there, some great choices.

DW-5600C, still looking sharp after 20 odd years imho :D

Nice way to look at it and the GW-3000 looks a good size. Think you can go too big though, some of the modern 'blingy' watches look excessive.

The GW-3000 is looking great, how do you find the size, look pretty large. Would agree on the analogue front. Really used to digital but had an analgoue seiko on all weekend and they are good for just glancing at the time. Anyhow, normal service resumed with a G-5500 'Rasta' today.
