Wearing a new G-Shock for the first time

Glad it isn't just me. I'd struggle to wear the KRINK also. Once that first knock / dink / scratch / scrape is out the way it's all fine though :D

Wearing a new G-Shock for the first time

Not sure if this is just me... Do others have relucatance to wear a new (or vgc) G-Shock for the first time. Generally when I get a new model it'll sit in the box or drawer for a couple of weeks before I dare to wear it :(

Do you have a favourite G-Shock era?

I'd agree generally the evolution of the older models are stong designs.

    Need help getting screws

Given you're in the US I'd either try Casio themselves > http://www.casio.com/support/buyparts/ or Casio Sales & Service > http://www.casiosalesandservice.com/ . Both should be able to help you out. Can fully understand giving the watch repairer a wide berth!

    Need help getting screws

Casio are normally great for carrying spares, I've had plenty of screws, seals and misc small parts off them over the years. Where in the world are you, can post a link to your local service centre. I'd also be tempted to go back to the shop and point out the mistake, sounds pretty inexcusable.

Do you have a favourite G-Shock era?

The Masters are always pretty solid. The odd model not to my taste but generally Casio ensure these models live up to their billing.

    Baby-G July 2011 New Releases

Casio Japan have just announced the July 2011 Baby-G new releases. This month sees six new models, three from the BG-1006 range and three from the BLX-100 range. No new models or exciting collaborations this month, rather some new color ways for two existing model ranges. The new BG-1006 are...

Do you have a favourite G-Shock era?

Might be worth setting up a poll for this one :D Mainly seem to have G-Shocks which are mid 90s and ealier then mid 00s and newer. Guess these would be my favourite eras. A lot of Casios output in the period mid 90s -> mid 00s left me a little cold with the odd exception.
