I reckon there's a good chance the Black x Gold series will be a worldwide release. The GXW-56GB-1JF is certainly one of the picks from that series, some of the other look a little fussy with all the gold on the face.

Two Antman (Antmen?), good work. Japan is well worth a visit, especially if you need to test out your G-Shock :) The Jack Bauer CTU G-Shock sounds good, pics for sure. Did he wear one in the show? Watched the first two seasons, great stuff. Thanks to this now have the CTU phone tone in my head...

Big month for new G-Shock releases from Casio Japan. Full June 2011 G-Shock new releases can be seen on the front page. My faves as the GW-9300GB Black x Gold new Mudman And the super bright GW-9201KJ-9JR "Love The Sea And Love The Earth" Riseman. Too bright? Perhaps, but it works I reckon.

I've never done a polarising mod. However from memory you have to remove the existing polarising film on the LCD then add the new polarising film. If you've just held the polarising film over the LCD as is you will have double polarisation going in.

Cheers Spencer, that's an old picture of the collection. Quite a few (inc the two mentioned) have moved on. The yellow is indeed a DW-6630B, the red urban camo was a DW-6900 jamin' colours. Perhaps wish I hadn't flogged those two :-/

What was your first G-Shock? After many years of hankering after a G-Shock (having owned loads of quartz Casios in school) finally bought a G-2500 from of all places the Orange Shop here in the UK. Pictured top left. I still have it, although never wear it.
