Is that a standard GW-9200 you've modded Kent Luk? Looks clean without the painted text.

Some good new pictures of the G-9300 have popped up on G-Street (click here for more). Looks a cracker, just hope they price it somewhat lower than the GW-9300 ;)

Looks a tough one to track down now. Only place I could find stock was via a well known auction site.

Never thought to look on amazon for dye - went to Woolworths. Plenty of people seem to get great results with their dye jobs, sure it'll be good.

Good luck with that, look forward to seeing the results. Where are you sourcing the RIT dye from? Tried a dye job once using dylon, it didn't go 100% well....

Interesting points dkpw. Have to say i genereally prefer the resin G-Shocks, for no other reason than the fact in my mind that's what a G-Shock should be clothed in. Suppose it's due to the early Gs being generally resin. Would agree the metal is perhaps more practical on the durability...
