Casio are refreshing an old favorite for the October 2013 new release. The DW-5500 was originally released back in the 80s and is thought of by collectors (and Casio themselves) as the origin of the Mudman line with it's shrouded buttons. The DW-5500 was refreshed to the GW-5500 for the 00s and now sees a further refresh to become the GW-5510 for 2013. The difference? One more band to take this model up to multiband6, ideal for reader in China. Two models are getting released initially, the G-Shock GW-5510-1JF and G-Shock GW-5510-1BJF, both are quite traditional in appearance, let's hope we see some exciting collabs and colorways over the coming months.
