For those who don't know Miffy she is a small female rabbit drawn by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. The first book was released in 1955 and the series has gone on to sell over 85 million copies worldwide. Unsurprisingly Miffy is hugely popular in Japan, the Dutch rabbit is widely regarded as one of the main inspirations behind Hello Kitty. To celebrate 55 years of Miffy Casio released the Miffy55 x Baby-G BG-5600MIFFY-1JR last year which was limited to 1000 pieces. If you missed out on the initial sale (which seems likely given they weren't sold outside Japan) then you're in luck - Japanese online retailer charamono have them in stock for ¥13650, check them out here. The Miffy 55th x Baby-G BG-5600MIFFY-1JR is based on the standard BG-5600 so has all of this model's standard features which include 100m water resistance, stopwatch, EL etc. This limited edition also features a cute miffy EL, cute miffy engraving to the case back, cute miffy text to the face and cute miffy graphics to the band.
