Thanks D_D! That watch has two issues though: it sits very high on the wrist and it's quite hotter then regular resin.

Legibility is always an issue with negative displays; wouldn't the extra blue film make it even harder to read?

One thing that I didn't like about that model is that the digits aren't actually blue, but that regular color that Casio uses on negative displays.

No, it's not almost full, full moon was on the 17th, today it's a Waning Gibbous, so you can't see the whole circle. Look here or here.

Then there's nothing wrong, it should only show one slice.

How many slices are dark on the moon graph?

I don't recall any G where you can "calibrate" the moon phase. My 9300 it's showing just one slice dark, as it should, since today is Waning Gibbous. Are you sure you have set the correct date?

I think it looks really good, but even if it wasn't so expensive I don't think I would buy it. Sorry, it just doesn't look "G-Shock" enough for me - in my mind a G is/was/will never be a social watch .

If a G was opened (for whatever reason) and afterwards you get no sound, ALWAYS the first thing to check is that/those darn spring(s).

Why would it be bad? It will stem some traffic, but only the "commercial" traffic, and that's the idea (I think). When G-SZ gets bigger and better known you can always lift this, but until then it will prune out the new members that see the site only as a sales platform. For regular posters...
