X-Large Japan have teamed up with G-Shock to bring this X-Large x G-Shock GA-110 out to celebrate 20 years of being top primate. The watch features X-Large logos, Gorilla engraved caseback and custom packaging. Cap supremos New Era have teamed up with watch supremos Casio to release this New Era x G-Shock DW-6900. The crisp collaboration has a black band and bezel with new era details, a white face with new era logo, new era backlight and custom packaging. We'd hope for a custom caseback also. The watch is available from Saturday 3rd December 2011 from the New Era global flagship stores in London, Birmingham, Milan and Paris amongst other locations. Retail is GBP£125, Euro €145. The main party will be going off at the New Era London Flagship store on Saturday 3rd. New Era are putting on DJs, giving out goody bags and most importantly giving away 3 watches. Casio Japan announced the Army Green series as part of their November 2011 G-Shock release. The series features four watches the G-Shock AQG-M500KG-3AJF, G-Shock GW6900KG-3JF, G-Shock GW-7900KG-3JF and GW-5610KG-3JF. All feature green and black band and bezels, black faces, negative displays and orange details inspired by flight jackets. Thanks to Watch-Tanaka we have some up close previews for you, enjoy :D
San Francisco label Illest have teamed up with Casio to release this Illest x G-Shock DW-6900. The collaboration comes in a distinctive tiffany and safari colorway (looks like black and blue) and features a caseback engraving, custom metal trunk packaging and illest details to the face and band. Available for pre-order now via the Illest online store the watch is dropping late November exclusively via Illest retail locations. The 1000 pieces will be retailing at USD$245. Silas have collaborated with Casio to release this Silas x G-Shock DW-5600 as part of their Christmas 2011 release. The collaboration features a camo print to the face, Silas details to band and face, custom EL, matte black band and bezel and custom packaging. Silas started in London in 1998 and were bought out by Japanese brand b-international in 2007. The watch is available on pre-order from zozo.jp on the 25th November, price will be ¥15750 which is approx USD$205, GBP£130 and EUR€150. Thanks to highsnobriety for the news :D

Stussy have once again teamed up with Casio to release this Stussy x G-Shock G-001 'Jason' collaboration. Great to see a G-Shock G-001 collaboration rather than the more normal DW-6900 or DW-5600. The Stussy x G-Shock G-001 features a matt black band & bezel, stussy details to the face and band, possibly a custom EL and of course custom packaging. To tie in with the release stussy are also dropping a G-Shock x Stussy T-shirt. Release for both is due Friday 11th November (sadly not Friday the 13th :D ) and will be available from the stussy store on zozotown. November sees two new Protrek models dropping, the ProTrek PRW-5100YT-1BJF 'Black Titanium Limited' and ProTrek PRX-2500T-7JF 'Manaslu' . The ProTrek PRW-5100YT-1BJF 'Black Titanium Limited' (unsure from Japanese press release if it is a limited edition or not!) is a new colorway for the analog PRW-5100 line, the main feature is the headline black ion plating and sapphire crystal. Other feature include a titanium band, tough solar charging, multiband 6 and of course the ProTrek triple sensors. November 2011 sees Casio Japan dropping ten new G-Shock models. These include the Parra x G-Shock DW-5600PR and Dee & Ricky x G-Shock GA-111DR both seen as part of the G-Shock November & December sneak peek we brought you last month. The other big news is the release of the Army Green series which feature green and black band and bezels, black faces, negative displays and orange details inspired by flight jackets. The four initial models are the G-Shock AQG-M500KG-3AJF, G-Shock GW6900KG-3JF, G-Shock GW-7900KG-3JF and GW-5610KG-3JF. The crazy colors series makes a welcome return this month with two new models, the red G-Shock GA-110FC-1AJF and blue G-Shock GA-110FC-2AJF. Casio Japan have today announced they are delaying the upcoming release of the Bluetooth enabled G-Shock GB-6900 and also the 'Triple G Resist' GW-4000 models due to the continued flooding in Thailand. The GW-4000 was due 30th November and the GB-6900 due late December. Our thoughts go out to those in Thailand affected directly and indirectly by the flooding. Original release can be found here.

To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Astro Boy Casio Japan are releasing this exclusive G-Shock DW-5600 collaboration model. Astro Boy (鉄腕アトム Tetsuwan Atomu?, lit. "Iron Arm Atom") is a Japanese manga series first published in 1952 by Osamu Tezuka, revered in Japan as the "God of Manga." The Atom Debut 60th Anniversary Astro Boy x G-Shock DW-5600 features a matt black band and bezel with astro boy graphics and text, a super cool astro boy EL, astro boy graphics to the dial and of course custom packaging. The new Dee & Ricky G-Shock collaboration was first seen in the G-Shock November and December sneak peek. Some great preview pictures have just been released on highsnobriety of the new Dee & Ricky x G-Shock GA-110DR-1A. The new white Dee & Ricky collab builds on the popularity of the previous black collaboration between the NYC based fashion designers and Casio. The new release features a white band and bezel, Dee & Ricky graphics, colourway, caseback and custom packaging. Release is pencilled in for November.
The Descent II features pro MTB freeriders Cameron Zink and Kyle Strait doing what they do best in Virgin, Utah. Whilst nailing some awesome drops they are of course testing the G-Shock G-9300 Mudman twin sensor. Enough talk, check the video. If you haven't seen it the Descent I is also well worth a look featuring some quite insane 'free flying'.
Casio Japan have announced the Baby-G BGA-133 range which is due as part of the Baby-G November release. This new range looks to be an evolution of the Baby -G BGA-130 range with a slightly more sober appearance. The Baby-G BGA-133 has three colorways at release, the black and gold BGA-133-1BJF, the white BGA-133-7BJF and the red BGA-133-4BJF. The black BGA-133-1BJF and red BGA-133-4BJF feature a neon star illumination and the white BGA-133-7BJF features a skull and crossbones. All three will retail at ¥14175 which is approx USD$185, GBP£115 and EUR€135. Further to the November & December G-Shock new release sneak peek fashion site highsnobriety has some exclusive pictures of the upcoming Parra x G-Shock DW-5600PR-4ER. The collaboration with Parra features the artists trademark highly saturated colors with an orange face, baby blue bezel and red and pink band. The Parra x G-Shock DW-56000PR also features the parra signature to the dial, custom parra caseback and parra packaging. Availability and pricing when we know it :D
Casio Japan have officially announced the release of the Bluetooth v4.0 enabled G-Shock GB-6900 smartphone compatible watches. These models were previewed early this year and various information has reached us here at G-Shockzone since, however Casio has confirmed they will hit retailers in Japan 'late December'. The main features of the G-Shock GB-6900 are as follows *Sync watch time to smartphone time *Audio and vibrate alert on watch for on incoming SMS *Audio and vibrate alert on watch for on incoming call *2 year battery life (assuming connected 12 hours per day) *Alert for dropped bluetooth link ..and possibly more features once we see an English language version of the press release.
