Cool! You'll notice (and learn to depend on) that Gs can handle a lot of grief and bounce back.

Sometimes these modules need a big "scare": pull out the battery for a minute and when you put it back in (as long as you are certain that it's good) do a hard reset. If the module isn't defective that usually works, like when you turn off your PC for a minute and then it starts working fine again.

I'm no connoisseur of BGs, but I would say it's probably from around 2000 to 2005. The light issue that you're having is probably because of the battery. The first thing I would do would be change the battery for a new one and then try it out. Let us know how it worked out.

Are you sure about that? I just tried and at least with my iPod Nano I didn't find any option (on the Nano) for BT control. Maybe that is only valid for the current iPods? But I'm aware that sooner or later I'll have to cave in and get a smart phone... Even though I don't use it to control a...
