My first ever G-Shock and I'm in love! :D

As I said in my earlier post, the GD-350 is a "watch to wear". So if you're interested in the so-called collector's value there are models with a much higher profile out there.

Hi, I'm new and this is my collection so far.

6900+9400+9200? Tough to start out better then that .

My first ever G-Shock and I'm in love! :D

The GD-350, like the Rangeman, are a bit "out of line" if you think of Casio's current intent for the G-Shock. Unfortunately the G-Shock turned from a TOUGH & affordable watch to a fashion statement (that's still tougher then anything out there). Nowadays it's easy to have the distinct...

My first ever G-Shock and I'm in love! :D

Congrats! In my humble opinion that is one of THE best current Gs out there, bar none - one of the top 5 easy.

Vintage Baby G made in Japan. Few questions.

Cool! You'll notice (and learn to depend on) that Gs can handle a lot of grief and bounce back.

    Casio G-Shock GW7900B-1 froze up

Sometimes these modules need a big "scare": pull out the battery for a minute and when you put it back in (as long as you are certain that it's good) do a hard reset. If the module isn't defective that usually works, like when you turn off your PC for a minute and then it starts working fine again.

Welcome aboard Stevo! Looks like you have a flair for 6900, and that's highly understandable .

Vintage Baby G made in Japan. Few questions.

I'm no connoisseur of BGs, but I would say it's probably from around 2000 to 2005. The light issue that you're having is probably because of the battery. The first thing I would do would be change the battery for a new one and then try it out. Let us know how it worked out.

It's going to be a nice day today

Oh, I'm definitively going to get a GD-X6900! I got the GB first because it has a "more different" module then the GD, but I really want a GD - just need to find a positive display model with a nice color combo. And BTW, I forgot about the vibe functions on the GB; I only tried them out after...

It's going to be a nice day today

Are you sure about that? I just tried and at least with my iPod Nano I didn't find any option (on the Nano) for BT control. Maybe that is only valid for the current iPods? But I'm aware that sooner or later I'll have to cave in and get a smart phone... Even though I don't use it to control a...

It's going to be a nice day today

Sorry guys, got sidetracked by a few things and I couldn't get to the PC to post. But here's the new guy: GB-X6900B-1JF Nothing out of this world, but a VERY nice watch. I was itching to get one of the new large frames, so I waited for the postal craze of the end of the year to die down...

It's going to be a nice day today

Why? Because today I'm going to the post office to pick up my first G of the year! Nothing fancy, but I'm excited - my last new G was the Rangeman in October! As soon as I have my new favorite baby in hands I'll show ya what it is :afro:.
