Now that's a model that would "deserve" a combi bracelet! However, it would be a pity to not use the stock uber-soft resin, so maybe a better match would be with the 5030...
Thanks Sengyoku!
I'm happy to see you guys spending money because of me (and not the other way around) for a change .
Seriously though, if you want to get serious about taking Gs apart (specially the vintage ones) a JIS set is a must.

Well, they're definitively not for me then. Not that I'm rough on my watches (far from that) but at least in principle a G is supposed to be a strap & forget kind of watch, so if I would have to baby the bracelet it won't work out for me.
So I guess it's maybe like white resin; very cool, but...
Every body raves about these bracelets, but I have yet to have one. When I got serious about Gs a few years ago I kind of focused on straps, and left bracelets for divers. Not that I don't think they're comfortable, but I got tired of fretting about one more thing on the watch to get scratched...
What really matters is how pliable the resin is, and that's determined not by wear but basically by how much UV radiation the watch was exposed to. UV radiation is the principle factor that makes the resin's molecules break down, so even if a watch wasn't worn but was exposed to a lot of UV...
Velcro straps are VERY comfortable, but are hot - in the cold it's great. Some models come with a single strap (and not double like this one), so watch height isn't an universal problem to Velcro straps.
My first of 2014 (and first new one in months!):
I've been thinking about one since December, but had to wait the end-of-the-year postal craze die down .
Yep, just like Gs, 200 m (at least). As I wrote, on your wrist a ProTrek will withstand the same abuse a G could survive.
Once again, on your wrist it's more likely you getting your arm hurt then damaging your G or ProTrek. However, the higher and more constricting bezel on a G could mean you...
The more important thing to ask is why not buy it .
The only issue I have with that (kind of) watch is not about the watch or color scheme per se, but the strap. Because of the Velcro strap, when you put it on it makes the watch head ride pretty high on your wrist (higher even then an...
Man that looks good!
And there's more proof that Casio misses yet another opportunity to shine while they stay in this darn negative display ruckus they've been on for what seems forever...
