Trade / Swap G-Shock spares for trade

You know I am a DW-00x lover. Do you want to send me a picture and price via PM for the DW-002 and maybe tell me what it was going to turn into? :) Good luck with the rest of the sales!

Will check the after market straps but it seems a shame to buy a whole wristband just for the keeper. Re the G-Mix - year setting runs forward to 2039 but the first year that can be set is 2000 which kind of dates it to that year. The tunes available are (Can't get no) Satisfaction, Smells...

Is it possible to stop collecting?

Only two in the post for me (and a couple that I may buy off a mate ...) Collecting G-Shocks is a lot cheaper and easier than my other main hobby, collecting military vehicles and tractors. G-Shocks take up far less space, deteriorate a lot slower, don't require fuel to be played with -...

I had an hour's paperwork to do this morning before going over to the army barracks to fiddle around with a couple of my vehicles. It is now 14:15 and I have just finished sorting out the complications arising from the first couple of emails sent this morning :( Ok, I will admit to sneaking a...

There must be a large number of people with Casio watches with broken keepers. I know Casio's solution is to sell a new wristband complete which is fine for their profits and frustrating for the watch owner, even if a matching wristband is available. I wonder if we have enough clout, as a...

Up at the farm where I rent a barn yesterday and today. Yesterday consolidated all my gear into the one bay I pay for rather than the three I had spread into, today working on getting a 50 year old McCormick hedge trimmer connected with a 30 year old Russian tractor. Need a custom made PTO...

a very silly question but I still do need help

Try getting a Philips #000 screwdriver from a decent tool store, makes a hell of a difference having quality tools. Strap pins require a special tool to compress them, very simple piece of kit but so much easier than digging around with a knife blade or similar

eBay Genuine Bape on eBay shock!

I was on a train the other day, one of the pair of seats with a table between, when a woman and two children sat down by me. The woman had a yellow G-Shock 6900 on her wrist which appeared to be a genuine BAPE but kept moving her rms so her sleeves covered the watch. Never got to see the...

@rutteger - nice, if that ever decides it would like a different caring home let me know! Over to Crawley today trying to work out how to get under a platform to undo bolts holding on a machine. Well, getting underneath is easy but doing it legitimately and with the blessing of Network Rail...

I like the DW-00x series so couldn't resist bidding on this one on eBay. Kept me happy on an early morning three and a half hour drive to work by chirping precisely on the Radio 4 time signal and occasionally using the backlight to dazzle drivers who had their full beams on. Photo taken on the...

Fine with me :) I occasionally move the furniture on the blog I run, keeps the users on their toes and, by monitoring the feedback, you get to know who cares

Nice. I am s-l-o-w-l-y coming round to squares! Maybe it's because I grew up with analogue watches where the hands sweep in a circle that I cling to the idea that a watch should be round. Or maybe because there seemed to have been a flood of square cheap and nasty (even though expensive) digital...

Bought this yesterday from a colleague at work, not had time to set it up correctly yet. Nice strap, similar to the one on my GW-7900 but makes it difficult to see the model and module numbers It's an AW-591MS-1A with the 4778 module - not bad for a pony!

How big is that? I ask because there was a Mudman GX56-1A that went a touch too expensive on eBay last Saturday. I went into the nearest town and saw it in a jeweller's window - looked gigantic! I am almost getting to like some of the "square" watches ...
