    WRUW : 7th Nov -> 13th Nov

    Went to the Imperial War Museum, Duxford today as it was Remembrance Sunday. Museum was free (saving the normal £16.50), vast and packed. Although an aetheist i attended the service for the chance to reflect on those who have given up their lives to secure ours. Went on board a de Haviland...

    eBay G-Shock GW-9200KJ-4JR Love The Sea And Earth

    I thought you meant you had to be bold to wear a watch to match the old National Health pink glasses that unfortunate kids used to have to wear. Then I saw the price and the postage - I have had watches from HongKong for far less than 40 dollars carriage!

    eBay Frogman special edition

    This started at only £9.99 but is being bid on strongly - up to £70 with 14 bidders and nearly two days to go. I've not seen this MT-G model Frogman with a blue face before, only the more common maroon variety. A fine addition to anyone's collection

    eBay What is this?

    A transparent case for a G-7900? A mocked up shot of a WatchShop ad with GA-110C Hypercomplex as a model number? A scam by a guy with just 5 feedback? Or is it an undocumented and extremely rare model?

    WRUW : 7th Nov -> 13th Nov

    I bid on and won a watch on eBay on Monday the 7th at midday and postie handed it to me this morning, Saturday 12th at 09:00. Nothing special about that except that this watch had come all the way from Japan. The postage cost me £3.15 - less than many UK eBay sellers charge. It's the second...

    Keepers!

    Failing that I have contacted a couple more wholesalers and have opened an account with one - only way to see the prices. It may be that buying diver style straps and throwing all bar the keeper away is the only solution but it should be fairly cheap. Can get cheap batteries in bulk too...

    WRUW : 7th Nov -> 13th Nov

    Tried for all the elevens but was on a train bumping its way down the east coast so the resulting shot is, err, abstract and artistic. However I did get a shot of my "Lover's" CodeName in Edinburgh. Well, in the breakfast room of the hotel I was in. Fried breakfast and haggis, sets you up for...

    Any colour so long as it's black?

    Most of mine are black as that's the most common colour that Casio make. Quite happy to wear colours, either bright text on a black watch or bold colours - I normally wear black trousers and black T shirt or orange hi-viz clothing for work, weekends tend to be khaki. Normally bare arms. I have...

    WRUW : 7th Nov -> 13th Nov

    Not a 11-11-11-11-11-11 shot but one I was trying out for my club blog. Found that as the time rolled over the hour all that was displayed was :00 So I grabbed an old Sekonda which was a lot easier to play with As for today, it was dark when I left the south coast, far too busy...

    Amazon Glx-5600-7er £52.95

    Certainly beats the sellers on eBay by a fair margin. There is one though - new without tags - which may be worth getting as "The watch comes with a beautiful smell"

    @gshockpete, @rutteger: Looks fine to me! Gone for a non-G today. Casio W-728H Brochure below is for Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - if they are flying to an airshow and your event is only a few miles deviation from their flightpath they will overfly for free. Third year of trying to get...

    Resin Rot!

    Give that man a Winterman's Cafe Creme! Mind you, anyone who actually reads any of the dross I post in here will know that the only bezel replacement I have ever tried has been to my first ever G-Shock, my DW-6600. So how close did I get? :)

    I blame that gshockpete! :) I thought I would get a blue and purple GLX-5600 too. It's about time that I got a square watch just to see if I could live with the concept and as I live by the sea what better watch to get than one with a tide graph - to save me looking out of the window. Postie...

    G-Shock Wademan DW-9800 restoration

    Hurry up! It's like watching paint dry ... :) We seem to be getting a fair selection of "how to" threads. Worthwhile putting them in a separate section to make them easier to find?
